Provision of Insurance for Academies, Free Schools & Similar Institutions

The CPC is seeking to establish a Framework Agreement for the provision of insurance and related services to academies, free schools and similar institutions. The successful providers may be may be direct insurers (inc. mutuals) and/or broker-insurer partnerships.

The framework agreement will be split into two lots as follows;

Lot 1 Comprehensive Insurance Cover & Service Provision

Lot 2 All Covers not included in the Education Funding Agency (EFA) Risk Protection Arrangement (RPA)

It is a requirement of the Tender that the selected provider(s) extend the terms to all eligible Institutions as defined by the CPC, including Academies, Academy Trusts and any future categories of school in any part of the UK that have similar funding and/or governance arrangements, together with special schools (maintained and non-maintained), maintained boarding schools and other similar organisations. The CPC reserves the right during the period of this agreement to make additions to or subtractions from the list of participating Institutions and Consortia.

Members have the right to utilise e-auctions during the further competition / call-off stage of supplier selection.
