description

The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust are tendering for the Provision of the Minor Eye Conditions Service on behalf of the West Cheshire CCG

The purpose of establishing a Minor Eye Conditions' (MEC) Service is to allow the assessment and management of recent onset minor eye conditions within the primary care setting. Our aim is to provide high-quality eye care to patients, with quick access to advice and treatment from suitably qualified clinicians in a safe, convenient and appropriate environment.

Management of the patient will be maintained, where possible, within this new primary care service in order to reduce the demand for urgent hospital appointments, releasing capacity for eye conditions requiring a full ophthalmology hospital service.

This is a further competition under the DPS Framework for The Provision of Off-site Surgical and Medical Capacity Solutions - DPS01/OSMCS/18/IB.

PLEASE NOTE THIS OPPORTUNITY IS ONLY OPEN TO SUPPLIERS WHO ARE LISTED ON THE ABOVE FRAMEWORK
