GBC - Weyside Urban Village Phase 01 Ground Investigation - Allotments

Guildford Borough Council is one of eleven Surrey district councils which includes the famous county town, Guildford. It is located in the semi-rural south-west of the County of Surrey and is well known for its wooded landscape, rolling hills, the Hogs Back, Guildford Cathedral and Castle, and of course, Guildford itself. The council provides in-house the full range of district council facilities, including waste & recycling, parks & countryside, planning services, housing & community services, leisure and car parking.

Guildford Borough Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contactor to perform ground investigation work. The ground investigation is required to assess the geotechnical and geo-environmental conditions beneath the site in order to aid the design and construction of the proposed infrastructure, mitigate the risk of site contamination hazards and comply with agreed environmental planning requirements.

This ITT is undertaken to ensure that supplier(s) selected are done so in a fair, open and transparent way.
