description
The Department of Health and Social Care and NHS Improvement are holding an engagement event for suppliers to find out more details of the bank flexible working pilots announced by the Secretary of State for Health in October.
These pilots, which are to be trust led, will focus in particular on supporting staff to book staff bank shifts quickly and easily using the latest technology, get paid more quickly and make choices on their pension contributions. In this way pilots will allow doctors, nurses and other NHS staff to be offered a seamless, modern and intuitive way to build their extra hours to best suit them, and the NHS to embed sustainable temporary staffing.
The invitation is targeted to suppliers interested in supporting this agenda through provision of bank products and solutions - we anticipate this to include suppliers of rostering, bank software (such as internal nursing and medical bank IT solutions), and bank managed service providers.
Due to limited space, we ask that suppliers send no more than 2 attendees per organisation, and to note our target audience outlined above.
The event will be held in London at 13.00pm on Friday 19th January.
To register your interest in attending the event, please email bankpilots2018@dh.gsi.gov.uk
Please send your initial Expression of Interest (EOI) at your earliest convenience, upon receipt of your EOI, further pre event information will be sent to you including agenda.
We ask that you confirm your intention to attend including names, titles and contact details of all attendees (max 2 per supplier) no later than Wednesday 17th December at 10am. We apologise for the tight time timescales, this is due to the venue management requesting attendee's details prior to the event.
An event summary document will be available shortly after the event by contacting the mailbox above if you are unable to attend.
