The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is a Specialist Oncology Centre seeking to appoint a supplier who will be able to deliver Haematology Full Blood Count (FBC) service. The Trust is looking for identical, analytical system across both sites which will be able to cope with the rising demand for laboratory services.

The Trust's haematology service is provided to inpatients, outpatients and day cases, providing rapid turn-around times (within 20 minutes) for the latter two groups. We do not provide GP services. The Trust is also heavily involved in trial work in liaison with the Institute for Cancer Research.

There is currently a full haematology service at both sites site operating 24 hour 7 day cover.

The blood sciences department currently holds full UKAS accreditation under ISO 15189 and is enrolled in all relevant UK EQA schemes for tests conducted within its routine laboratories.
