description
We are seeking an examination of what information and advice on housing options older people across Leeds want and / or need and an approach which pulls out the nuances between the two.
The project will determine what housing options information and advice currently exists in Leeds and when, how and if older people are accessing this and acting upon it. This will identify and document any gap between provision, need and desire.
Having understood any potential gap between what housing options information and advice older people in Leeds want and need and what is provided, we are seeking recommendation, taken where necessary from expert providers to a future offer in Leeds and the business case for doing so.
Older people for the purposes of this project are defined as being aged 50 and over (50+).
For this specific scoping project, we have allocated a budget of up to £25,000 (excluding VAT). It is expected to commence by June 2018, with outputs delivered by end of November 2018. This is an approximate costing and we would consider amendments to this if suitable justification is provided.
