description

The Roman Baths is one of Britain's most important, well-known and cherished historic sites with significance that is unrivalled in Britain. The site contains the best preserved Roman Baths and Temple complex in Europe and is set around Britain's only hot springs. It is an evocative place where humans have been active for more than 7,000 years. The Roman Baths and Temple Complex is a Scheduled Ancient Monument with a Designated museum collection which includes large pieces of architectural stonework and Ceramic Building Material (CBM). It is intended to display a large amount of this material in a part of the archaeological site known as the Investigation Zone, which will form part of a future dedicated learning space that is opening to the public early in 2021.The Council wishes to establish a Contract for the provision of mounts and mounting of these objects.
