description
Market Engagement Event
The Council recognises the importance of engaging with qualified providers of Technology Enabled Care and those developing innovative technologies and values the important contribution the sector can make to service design.
West Sussex County Council will therefore be holding a market engagement event to test its approach to the procurement of a new Technology Enabled Lives service with the wider sector, which we would like to invite you to attend. This will:
- oProvide a forum to allow the sector to influence the design of the delivery model and service.
- oEnable all parties to engage and develop ideas in a collaborative manner.
- oHelp us to identify any potential gaps in the sectors capabilities that may affect service outcomes.
- oGive the Council assurance that its proposed service model is both feasible and deliverable in the current market conditions and that there are enough providers in the market for a competitive procurement.
We hope the enclosed information will allow you to ascertain an understanding of the outcomes we need to achieve with the Technology Enabled Lives Service and allow you time to consider and prepare for the event should the opportunity be something your organisation would be interested in.
Attendees, Parking and Information
The event will be held in Committee Room 3 on Monday 19th February 2018 between 9.30am and 2.00pm at County Hall, West Street, Chichester, PO19 1RG.

Unfortunately there is no parking available on-site, however there are several public car parks within a few minutes' walk of County Hall, as detailed below: http://www.chichester.gov.uk/carparkmap
Following the event you will be offered an opportunity to book a 1:2:1 appointment for more detailed discussions if wanted. Planned dates for these are 26th February and 1st March 2018. You will also be able to put any questions about the event and the procurement approach through Intend which will result in a written response.
If you would like to participate in this event please notify us via the Intend Portal by the 12th of February.
We look forward to meeting you on the 19th February.
