Estates - Security Improvements

The Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency is seeking a supplier to carry out the design, supply, installation, commissioning, programming and configuration, setting to work, and warranty maintenance for electronic security at their site at Blanche Lane, South Mimms, Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, EN6 3QG. The works will include:

• Expansion of an existing Honeywell Win-Pak Version 4 Electronic Access Control System.
• Provision of all new Intruder Detection System(s) to include detection devices, cabling and control equipment, all to be in accordance with BS EN50131 Grade 3 Systems
• Provision of all new CCTV system including IP addressable HD cameras, IP addressable Digital Recording System for approximately 80 cameras (with expansion of 50%)
• Provision of a new Security Management System (SMS) – The SMS is to be a 3rd party system and not a software application of one of the security systems referred above.
• All cabling, including network and components to provide a stand-alone security LAN/WAN
• All containment systems to support all electronic security components
• All civils and enabling works

This requirement is being run in two stages, firstly a prequalification stage and secondly the ITT stage. The requirement is being run like this due to the special security requirements of this project.

All suppliers who meet the minimum requirements of the PQQ will be invited to submit a tender.
