3128_15 Mental Health Recovery and Rehabilitation Service

The contract is for the delivery of effective rehabilitation and recovery to people with mental health issues whose needs cannot be met by less intensive mainstream adult mental health services. The aim is to promote personal recovery for people with severe and complex mental health problems who are or would otherwise be high users of in-patient and community services. These will be people recovering from significant mental health problems with a high level of social care need, who require intensive skills development and support to increase their level of independence and prevent the need for a more intensive level of support or supervision in the future, provided in a safe, staffed environment. Between 11 and 16 places are required, and the service provider is required to source suitable accommodation in Leicestershire and enter into appropriate arrangements with the landlord if necessary. 24 hour on site support is required.

The contract has the option to extend for up to a further 24 months. The total estimated values stated include the option period.
