Supply and Installation of a Bio Mass Boiler Solution at the Southend Adult Community College

Southend on Sea Borough Council wish to appoint a contractor for the supply and installation of a Bio Mass Boiler System at the Southend Adult Community College.

This open tender will be evaluated on a 70% price and 30% quality basis.

The project involves the following:-

• Supply and install a “Cabin packaged solution” of a 100kWth pellet Biomass boiler Works are to include laying a new suitable base to support the cabin. Connection will be to local valves on flow and return pipes, electrical supply and control cables.

Works are anticipated to commence on 23rd July 2015 and complete on 28th August 2015.

The clients requirements (room data sheets, specification, drawings and pricing document) will be issued to all tendering contractors and the contract will be let under JCT Minor Works with Design 2011.

Please submit your request to tender no later than 12 noon on Monday 27th April 2015. The tenders will be sent out on Wednesday 29th April 2015 with a return date of Wednesday 20th May 2015.

The returned tenders will be considered against an evaluation ratio of 70% for price, 30% for quality which may include an interview.
