Thurrock Council wish to restructure some of their current Public Health services into an Integrated Healthy Lifestyles contract to include Stop Smoking, Weight Management, NHS Health Checks and Making Every Contact Count (MECC) which are intended to help individuals develop healthy lifestyle habits and support early identification of long term health conditions.
This will be a Lead Provider model with a single point of access and referral system for service users, as well as a range of service interventions, some of which may be run by the Lead and others by Sub-Contracted Partners/Providers. The specific nature of services and mix of providers will form part of the tender evaluation.
