Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is hosting a celebration weekend with a traditional fireworks display on Saturday November 5, 2022 and Illuminate Garden and Playground by Night on Friday November 4, 2022

We require quotations from suitable suppliers to deliver an Illuminated garden display on Friday November 4, 2022 to include creative lighting of the field and it's arboreal features around the Pavilion field (bandstand field), the Pavilion building, the path around the war memorial, the paths to the adventure play area, the adventure playground and splash pad.

The aim of the display is to provide an alternative to the traditional fireworks display the following evening and encourage families and children to play by night - something which rarely happens in November. While the focus of the display should be creative lighting, lighting features and lighting effects, it should also include other creative sensory elements such as audio, bubble arches, smoke effects or similar and ground chaser lights children and families can follow.

It is anticipated the displayed will attract an audience of around 10,000 people.

The council's event team are looking to procure the following:

The supply, delivery, design, installation, supervision and removal of lighting and SFX at the park - with the event open from 4pm until 9pm

The successful tender will be awarded to a company that will provide all necessary transport, equipment, personnel, and material for set up, lighting and SFX displays and performance, and break down. The scheduled time of the launching will be approximately 4pm.
