Commercial Management Services

Following a further competition under Lot 2 of the Highways England Specialist Professional and Technical Services (SPATs) framework, HS2 Ltd has awarded three work packages for the provision of commercial management services in order to support the contract management and mobilisation of a number of HS2 Ltd.'s major infrastructure contracts.

The work packages awarded by HS2 Ltd include:

Work Package 1 (ref: 2-063) - Contract Management Support of EWC and MWCC

As part of this work package the awarded Supplier (Turner & Townsend Cost Management Ltd) will be required to provide pre-contract development and post contract management support on HS2 Ltd's Enabling Work Contract ('EWC') and Main Works Civils Contracts ('MWCC').

The value of the work package awarded is £2,414,400.

Work Package 2 (ref: 2-064) - Planning and Development of Station Procurement Activities

As part of this work package the awarded Supplier (Turner & Townsend Cost Management Ltd) will be required to provide commercial support and input to the stations procurements for HS2's four Phase 1 Stations.

The value of the work package awarded is £804,000.

Work Package 3 (ref: 2-065) - Planning and Development of Rail Systems, Utilities and On-Network Work Packages

As part of this work package the awarded Supplier (George Corderoy's & Co Ltd) will be required to provide pre-contract development and post contract management support on a range of HS2 Ltd's Rail Systems, Utilities and On-Network contracts and procurements.

The value of the work package awarded is £1,205,280.

Each work package has been awarded for a period of one year, with the option to extend for a further one year (in six monthly increments) should on-going support be required by HS2 Ltd.
