Derby City Council on behalf of itself and Nottingham City Council, invites tenders for the establishment of a multi-supplier framework agreement for the supply of construction and highways materials, for a period of up to four years.
Whilst initially for use by Derby City Council and Nottingham City Council, the framework agreement will also be open for use by other Midlands Highway Alliance members (at the time of publication, the membership consists of Derby City Council, Derbyshire County Council, Doncaster Council, Highways Agency, Leicester City Council, Leicestershire County Council, Lincolnshire County Council, Milton Keynes Council, Northamptonshire County Council, Nottingham City Council, Nottinghamshire County Council, Peterborough City Council, Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council, Rutland County Council, Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council, Staffordshire County Council, Stoke-on-Trent City Council, South Derbyshire District Council, Telford and Wrekin Council and Wolverhampton City Council) and the following classifications of user: Central Government Departments and their Agencies; Local Authority Councils; Educational Establishments (including Academies); Police, Fire & Rescue and Coastguard Emergency Services; NHS and HSC Bodies, including Ambulance Services; Registered Charities; Registered Social Landlords.
An eAuction process may be used to award subsequent call off contracts following the reopening of competition among the parties to the Framework Agreement.
The framework has two year extension option.
