NHS England South ( South Central ) Thames Valley Prison and IRC Healthcare Services Market Stimulation Event

NHS England South Central Health and Justice Team cordially invite all suitably qualified and experienced providers (including social enterprise / third sector organisations, primary and secondary care providers) to a Market Stimulation Event on Wednesday 6th May at Oxford Spires Hotel, Abingdon Road, Oxford, OX1 4PS from 1.30pm - 4pm.

The Market Stimulation Event offers an exciting opportunity to forge links and relationships with existing and potential providers to promote the submission of quality bids.

NHS England South Central is responsible for commissioning outcome focused primary healthcare services equivalent to those available to the local community and intends to commission a new prime provider contract for the provision of all healthcare services across the Thames Valley.

The procurement will include 5 prisons and 1 IRC and will be available in two lots; Buckinghamshire (3 prisons one with an inpatient unit) and Oxfordshire (2 prisons and 1 IRC) and will require a comprehensive range of in-house services including not limited to physical health, mental health and substance misuse services.

Providers can bid for one or both lots and can bid in isolation or in a consortium.

Please note that attendance will be limited to 2 attendees per organisation. An agenda will be issued to Providers prior to the event. In the event that you are unable to attend but would like to receive a copy of any presentation materials, please send an email to NHSCS.commissioning@nhs.net and copies will be sent to you. The event is advertised on Contracts Finder and OJEU. An expression of interest to attend this Market Stimulation Event is no indication of a commitment to participate in the future tender process nor does it infer any special status on those Providers who do attend. An expression of interest in this event will not automatically entitle involvement in any future procurement exercise. Any procurement conducted as a result of this event will be advertised separately and all organisations wanting to participate will need to respond to the procurement advertisement as and when it is published. Providers who do not attend this Market Stimulation Event will still be able to apply for the Procurement in the future. Please note that this Market Stimulation Event does not represent a formal stage in the procurement process and attendance will play no part in any subsequent evaluation process
