RFI - Referrral Support Service for NHS Vale of York CCG

This is a Request for Information (RFI) on behalf of NHS Vale of York CCG. The purpose of this RFI is to gauge market interest for the provision of a Referral Support Service. With this RFI, the CCG is seeking information from prospective providers regarding their organisation and services. The information will be gathered and used to help inform the CCG's future procurement strategy.

THE REFERRAL SUPPORT SERVICE (RSS)

The RSS is a system designed to ensure that patients receive the right care, at the right place, at the right time and that where possible, patients are optimised in primary care before onward referral to secondary care. Essentially it consists of two main elements:

1: The Administrative Team

2. The Clinical Reviewer Team

Together they ensure that patients have received the appropriate management within primary care before onward referral.
