description
Dear Sir/Madam
North East London Treatment Centre (NELTC) – Market Engagement prior to procurement process publication
North and East London Commissioning Support Unit (NEL CSU) are requesting market feedback, on behalf of the NHS Barking & Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge Clinical Commissioning Groups (BHR CCGs) and Waltham Forest CCG, to inform the upcoming procurement for elective care services from the NELTC.
In order to assist the CCGs with testing their assumptions and proposed service requirements, your responses to the questions outlined in relevant template (see details of how to access below) will explore the following areas:
| • | The draft service specification and draft key performance indicators |
| • | Timescales to handover existing services (if required) and mobilise new services |
| • | Approach for delivering local patient access for some outpatient first and follow-ups in each CCG area |
| • | Expected financial approach (key cost drivers, risk sharing, how the requirement might be changed to drive better value and factors that influence performance measures and costs) |
We ask that interested providers submit responses to the key questions using the template provided at: https://procontract.due-north.com/Advert?advertId=6004a3e3-988f-e611-8114-000c29c9ba21
Respondents are requested to specifically address the questions rather than attaching extensive technical or promotional information as such information will not be considered.
Interested bidders will need to register on the Due North (Pro-Contract) e-tendering portal at:
https://procontract.due-north.com/Advert?advertId=6004a3e3-988f-e611-8114-000c29c9ba21
where they can complete the template and return this via the messaging facility on Pro-Contract - by 12.00 Midday on Monday 24th October 2016.
The following attachments are available to interested parties via Due North (Pro-Contract) to further inform the submission of the questionnaire response. These documents are available for download via the Pro-Contract eTendering portal at the link provided above:
| • | Market Engagement Questionnaire |
| • | Draft Service Specification, Activity and Tariff information |
| • | Draft Procurement timetable |
Please direct any questions via the messaging facility as described above.
