North East Essex Clinical Commissioning Group hereby invites suitably qualified service providers to attend a Market Engagement event to be held on 13th June 2017 for the provision of Routine Elective Services, associated outpatient and diagnostic services.
Suitable providers must be able to:
- 1.Provide all of the listed specialties below:
- a.Ear Nose and Throat
- b.Gastroenterology
- c.General Surgery
- d.Gynaecology
- e.Ophthalmology (Cataracts only)
- f.Physiotherapy (Inpatient service only)
- g.Trauma and Orthopaedics
- h.Urology
- i.Associated Diagnostics to the specialities listed above
- Ensure services are located in clinically appropriate estates, with an inpatient facility equipped with full operating theatre facilities; located within the North East Essex geographical area preferably located within a 5 mile radius of an A&E and ITU. The facility should have capacity to deliver up to 40 bedded inpatient spells per day.
- Demonstrate capacity and capability of the workforce to deploy and successfully deliver all of the listed specialities from service commencement date, allowing for a period of mobilisation
- Mobilise all services by service commencement 9th April 2018
The Market Engagement event is scheduled on Tuesday 13th June 2017, from 11am at Aspen House, Stephenson Road, Severalls Business Park, Colchester, CO4 9QR. Refreshments will be available from 10:45 am.
The event will offer a further opportunity to engage with stakeholders and for prospective service providers to learn more about the services.
The format of the event will be a Presentation from the CCG followed by a Q & A session. After the Presentation, the CCG will make available 1-to-1 slots to answer more detailed questions and capture feedback. The information gathered will be used to inform the CCGs' service model and future procurement plan.

Please ensure that you confirm within the booking form whether or not you are interested in an individual 1-to-1 slot with the Commissioners.
Due to limitations of space, attendance is restricted to a maximum of 2 representatives per organisation.
