Provision of Pre-Genetic Diagnosis/Pre-Implantation Genetic Screening Service: Genetic Testing

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (STHFT) requires a Pre-Genetic Diagnosis/Pre-Implantation Genetic Screening Service. The Assisted Conception Unit located at Jessop Wing is in the process of developing a PGD / PGS service which will improve patient care at STHFT. Biopsy will be undertaken on site with the cells being sent to an external provider to report the results. The process involves secure carriage of the genetic material to the testing site followed by accurate testing using the most up to date technology. Choosing the right private provider to work with us is absolute key to the success of this project.
