Herefordshire Council is the highway authority responsible for maintaining and managing the highway network within the boundaries of Herefordshire.
The Council is evolving its model for delivering highway and public realm works and services. This includes establishing a Highways and Public Realm Schemes Civil engineering contractors Framework that will run for 4 years starting in 2024.
The Framework will provide the Council with increased capability and capacity to deliver an anticipated increase in funding available via number of sources such as the Levelling Up Fund (LUF). It is designed to provide greater opportunities for local and regional suppliers and SMEs, and to support the development of the local supply chain.
