Notice of Pre-Registration for a future market engagement exercise

The Office for National Statistics (the "Contracting Authority") are presently developing their plans for the future procurement activity associated with the planning and delivery of a nationwide census in 2021. The census is part of a wider-programme of activity (the "Census Transformation Programme").

As part of this procurement process, the Contracting Authority intends to conduct a market engagement exercise (the "Exercise") during the spring and summer of 2015 that will be used by the Contracting Authority to meet with and better understand the capability of the general supplier marketplace, and its appetite to want to take part in future procurement activities. Suppliers will be able to take part in the initial phases of the Exercise in one of two ways:

1. the attendance (if desired) at a supplier briefing (the "Briefing"); and

2. the completion of a form (the "Form").
