EARLY WARNING
West Sussex County Council and the three local Clinical Commissioning Groups (Coastal West Sussex, Crawley and Horsham and Mid Sussex) are re-designing the delivery of the Children and Young People’s Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Services with the intention of creating a DPS, formed of Qualified Service Providers, through a competitive procurement process which will commence during late spring 2015.
Following the feedback from children, young people, parents/carers and stakeholders, it was agreed that the overarching aim is to create more capacity and choice for children and young people. It is essential that all service providers work together in partnership, including working in partnership with Tier 1 (universal) and Specialist Tier 3 Community CAMHS Services to ensure that services are seamless, outcomes focussed and support the focus on a single point of access for children and young people, their families and stakeholders.
In the first instance Service Providers will be bidding to become a Qualified Service Provider, thereafter throughout the duration of the DPS Service Providers will be expected to work with the Authority and other Qualified Service Providers to identify and develop new and innovative ways of delivering services that meet the objectives and service outcomes.
The service redesign has identified that collaboration, consortia and partnership bidding will be key to delivering successful sustainable services.
Potential Service providers are invited to attend a Market Engagement event to be held on Tuesday the 21st of April 2015 from 09:30am to 13:00pm at Billingshurst Community and Conference Centre, Roman Way, Billingshurst, West Sussex, RH14 9EW.
The purpose of this event is to provide potential Service Providers with an opportunity to ascertain an understanding of the way the delivery of Children and Young People’s Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Services are being redesigned in West Sussex, consult and develop the overarching specification(s) and to network with key local and national agencies with the aim to identify potential partners for future services.
Additional information: Potential Service Providers expressing an interest in attending the market engagement event, via this portal, will be provided with relevant documentation approximately one week ahead of the scheduled date.
