description
A supplier is sought to complement and assist the existing team, which is very resource constrained, to produce the requirements detailed within this document, including:
- Support continuing investment from spending departments on Level 2 and Level 3.
- Assessing the impact of Level 2 BIM on the industry [designers, contractors, manufacturers] in the domestic and international markets.
- Build a benefits framework for Level 3 which identifies the benefits, profiles them and manages them during the design of Level 3.
The specialist is required to deliver a Benefits Measurement Methodology by the end of June 2017, which sets out the method of measuring and reporting the benefits of the DBB programme covering Departmental Level 2 BIM projects, growth in exports from engaging with other countries and regions to adopt our Level 2 standards and methodology which opens markets for UK suppliers to export to.
The methodology also needs to develop the core methodology for measuring benefits from Level 3.
IUK has separately procured a Strategic Outline Business Case in line with the Green Book, which will inform the development of the methodology.
Having developed methodology, the supplier will be required to gather and report on the benefits achieved by Level 2 BIM to the DBB Board, Treasury and the Cabinet Office.
