Marine Liability Insurance 2018 to 2021 - Portsmouth International Port

Portsmouth City Council, 'the Council' is inviting tenders from suitably qualified insurers to provide Marine Liability and Excess Marine Liability cover in respect of its International Port operations. The Council have appointed Aon Risk Solutions as their Insurance Broker. Insurance Broking services do not form part of this tender and bids will not be accepted from Brokers. Bids will only be accepted from claims management companies where they form an integral part of the insurance offering.

The opportunity has been split into two lots and suppliers may bid for one, all or any of the lots.

Lot 1 - Marine Liability Insurance Lot 2 - Marine Excess Liability Insurance

The Council is targeting to have awarded the contract by 15th June 2018 with a subsequent commencement date of 30th June 2018. The estimated value across the whole contract term is in the region of £520,000 based upon the full five year contract term.

The opportunity has been split into two lots and suppliers may bid for one, all or any of the lots.

The initial contract period will be for three years extendable in yearly increments to a maximum of five years subject to approval by the Council.
