description

The University of Huddersfield is seeking to engage a partner to provide a variety of services associated with transition of on premises infrastructure and applications to Microsoft Office365.

These services will range from providing consultancy, advice, options appraisal, heath check and readiness assessments through to planning, execution and ongoing support for specific workloads.

The extent and duration of the engagement will be contingent on successful delivery of the first project which is to migrate the staff email service from the current on premises Microsoft Exchange 2010 environment to Office365.

It is intended that initial Office365 functionality will be limited to Outlook Online, One Drive and Office Web Apps however further functionality will be introduced later as a programme of planned releases which will be finalised at a later date in collaboration with the appointed partner.

On successful completion of the first project, the initial contract period would be set as 24 months with the University reserving the right to extend this contract annually up to a maximum length of engagement of 60 months' subject to satisfactory review and agreement between parties.
