To provide a community vasectomy service for patients registered with a Leeds GP Practice. The service will deliver an innovative, high quality, efficient service closer to patients home.
The service will:
| ï§ | Offer patients a choice of locations and appointment times, ensuring equitable timely and appropriate access; |
| ï§ | Ensure that patients are seen and treated in a safe environment, most appropriate to their care needs; |
| ï§ | Provide best value for money, delivering effective and sustainable use of resources. |
Local defined outcomes
| a) | Low Surgical infection rates |
| b) | Low Complication rates |
| c) | Reduction in Sterilisation Failure rates |
| d) | Patients seen and treated within the NHS Constitution timescales i.e. within 18 weeks of referral |
