description
Medway Council Public Health team are seeking a provider of point of care testing (POCT) devices to GP surgeries who are engaged with the NHS Health Check programme in Medway. The proposed solution must include:
| • | 54 POCT devices to be supplied to GP Practices (number includes branch sites) |
| • | Devices to provide total cholesterol (TC) and TC/HLD ratio readings, as a minimum |
| • | Initial distribution/delivery of devices within agreed timescales |
| • | Initial delivery to include the required consumables for at least 20 tests |
| • | Initial training on use of the device to be provided to practice staff within agreed timescales |
| • | Provision of manufacturer's instructions for use and guidance on maintaining the machine |
| • | On-going technical support for the duration of the contract |
| • | On-going training support for the duration of the contract |
| • | Clear process for accessing technical and training support (e.g. service desk, telephone number, email address) |
| • | Processes for re-ordering of consumables |
| • | Internal quality control checks, to include a minimum of a daily 'go, no go' test |
| • | IQC record keeping/log sheets provided |
| • | All 54 devices to be registered with an External Quality Assurance Scheme |
