Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council (BMBC) are seeking bids from providers to deliver the Healthwatch Barnsley. Healthwatch Barnsley has been acting as the voice of local people and delivering quality community engagement work since 2013. We are now looking to build on those foundations to develop a Healthwatch which continues to deliver an excellent user-focused service whilst securing additional funding to enhance the current provision. This procurement seeks to learn from the experience of the current contract to focus future work on the most essential areas of Healthwatch activity for Barnsley, whilst maintaining the requirement for covering the whole of the statutory obligations placed on local Healthwatch.
