The works include: -

The Eastern elevation of spans 1-4. Saw cut new opening in existing blockwork and install new security door as per the specification.

The Eastern elevation of spans 5 & 6. Saw cut new opening in existing blockwork and install new security door as per the specification. Removal of container and re-site.

The Western elevation of spans 8 & 9. Saw cut new opening in existing brickwork and replace the existing door with a double door as per the specification.

The Western elevation of spans 10. Replace the existing door with a double door as per the specification. Vegetation Clearance. Take down and rebuild the end wall which is suffering from a lean.

The Western elevation of spans 11. Replace the existing door with a new single door as per the specification. Vegetation Clearance. Take down and rebuild the end wall which is suffering from a lean.

The Western elevation of spans 12. Not suitable for a standard height door. Build up wall and fit customised door or inspection hatch as per the specification.

Vegetation Clearance.

Some sections of wall are missing/ damaged to spans 8-12. There is quite a bit of work required to the brick end walls of spans 8-12.

The land adjacent to spans 8-12 is a little bit overgrown, but easily accessible at the moment as the vegetation has started to die down. We believe there is hardened ground below, or at least there was in 1994. it's just built up with vegetation and debris overtime. The contractor is required to excavate down to hardened ground to give us a 2m clear strip adjacent to the structure.
