Manufacture of Body Armour Test Moulds for Home Office

The Home Office Centre for Applied Science and Technology (CAST) manage and maintain the Home Office standards for Body Armour and portable ballistics protection.

CAST is seeking a manufacturer to make test moulds to be used in the testing of ballistic schemes.

This will include the production of four moulds including large and small female, plus front and rear male torso.

The successful manufacturer will be accredited as the supplier for the Home Office and will be able to sell to anyone who wishes to purchase them.

Additional information: The full specification and details of the tender are outlined on Appendix B which is attached. The contract start date is indicative only.

No fixed budget has been set for the project though appropriate funds have been allocated.

NB* All prospective bidders must have a DUNS number from Dun and Bradstreet to enable registration and electronic document transfer.
