Asbestos Surveying, Legionella and Water Hygiene Risk Assessments & Asbestos Removal 2021 - 26

The purpose of this tender process is to select two Service Providers - One for Asbestos Surveying, Air Monitoring & Legionella Risk Assessment services, and another to provide Asbestos Removal Services

Lot 1 services include -

Cobalt Housing wishes to appoint an experienced and competent service provider for the provision of

• Asbestos Surveys, including the collection and analysis of samples collected on site; Asbestos re-inspections; Air Testing (where 3rd party testing required); and provision of data and reports. The Service provider will be required to carry out survey work while the properties are occupied and to carry out part or all of the survey work to vacant dwellings (voids).
• Legionella Risk Assessments to 4 Domestic Properties and 2 Commercial Property

Lot 2 services include -

• Asbestos treatment and removal works to Cobalt Housings stock of general needs properties and communal blocks to meet our regulatory requirements and to protect our tenants, employees, visitors, members of the public and service providers.

IMPORTANT: Please note that Tenderers may only apply for one lot. i.e. Tenderers who tender for Lot 2 Asbestos Removal, may not tender for Lot 1, and vice versa. This is to ensure that the two contracts provide a division of duties, avoid a conflict of interest and meet best practice. For the same reasons, the Contractor carrying out Legionella and Water Hygiene Monitoring on behalf of Cobalt may not tender for lot 1
