Provision of Air Transport Administrative Data

ONS require a data source that can provide a more expansive range of air fares that will meet the following criteria in order ensure the data captures 'Business to All' transactions.

It is also important for the data to meet our timeliness needs as ONS is also committed to producing a timelier SPPI series.

The required criteria:

• o69 quotes in total are needed and broken down as follows: 9 quotes of long haul flights, 24 quotes of European flights and 36 quotes of domestic flights.
• oFlight routes should be formatted as follows: for EU and Non-EU flights - routes between city pairs outbound from the UK, for domestic flights - routes between city pairs within the UK.
• oTo meet the Business to All requirement the data should be split via the following: 50% business class fares and 50% economy class fares. The selected airlines should also be split: 50% budget airlines and 50% non-budget airlines.
• oSample data measuring 4 quarters

Prices must be from a specified date in the first month of each quarter (alternatively from the first Monday or first working day from the first month in the quarter).

The total maximum budget for services for the duration of the contract (2 years) is ?22,000.00 (?11,000 per year)

Additional information: To apply for this project you will have to register onto the ONS Dynamic Purchasing System for Data Sources and Services including Expertise (DPS Data SaSiE).

Once you are registered onto the In-Tend system you will need to register an interest in the Dynamic Purchasing System for Data Sources and Services including Expertise (DPS Data SaSiE). Following successful registration onto the DPS you will then be attached to the project for the 'Provision of Air Transport Administrative Data'.
