United Kingdom-Ardrossan: Building construction work

'Established over 30 years ago, Cunninghame Housing Association Ltd manage approximately 2 400 homes throughout North Ayrshire and East Ayrshire. The Association have now identified further potential development opportunities on brownfield and greenfield sites (predominantly within Ayrshire, Scotland, UK) to be procured between 2015 and 2019. The overall value of the projects to be delivered via this Framework Agreement cannot be confirmed at this time, as these are subject to external factors such as site acquisition, statutory approvals, funding availability. However, the projects could involve the construction of circa 400 new residential properties and various commercial / non housing projects over the next 4 years. The purpose of this procurement exercise is to allow Cunninghame Housing Association Ltd to identify a number of suitably qualified and experienced main Contractors who will be selected for inclusion in a Contractors' Framework Agreement to assist in the delivery of the Association's development programme. The Framework Agreement will be for an initial period of 3 years and, subject to satisfactory performance, may be extended at the discretion of the Association by a further optional 1 year. The Association require that any selected main Contractor be able to provide a full multi trades service for completion of all requisite works (site preparation, ground-works, foundations, superstructures, external works, public utility infrastructure and landscaping) and to complete the developments within pre-agreed programme and best quality standards.
