Enterprising Barnsley is a business support programme delivered by Barnsley Council with support from the European Regional Development Fund. The programme supports eligible companies looking to grow their business in Barnsley via one to one coaching by private sector business consultants, workshops, seminars and events. As part of this programme of support we are looking to develop an ecommerce incubator model for both start-ups and existing companies who are looking to take products online.
This ecommerce incubator project, will help to form a more substantial ecommerce project in line with future commissioning of the Enterprising Barnsley programme.
This ecommerce incubator will be delivered between May 2015 toMarch 2016, however we expect the agreed supplier to start the planning and design of the commissioned activity from the 16th February, for a 4th May start date.
As part of the ecommerce incubator, business accommodation will be provided by Barnsley Digital Media Centre, and also free access to the Shopify ecommerce platform.
