Gloucestershire County Council has been providing the Positive Caring Programme since 2011 as a learning and development service for carers. The Programme is:
A series of learning and development sessions for carers.
An all age service providing targeted programmes for young carers, parent carers and carers of people experiencing a range of conditions.
A Gloucestershire countywide service, free at point of delivery
Universal service open to all carers regardless of the extent of their caring role.
Total value of contract for two years is 345,000. With an option to extend for a furtherone year.
