Normal access to the Fleet Air Arm Museum is via a set of stairs that lead to a bridge structure over a road on the Naval Air Station below, those unable to climb the stairs enter through a ground level gate. This staircase and bridge have been in use for many years and are now in need of refurbishment and updating.
