SCC AGC - Eat Out Eat Well project

Surrey County Council would like to commission a provider to review and amend its Eat Out Eat Well (EOEW) award to bring it into line with current national dietary recommendations and the nutrient-based criteria set out in the Government Buying Standards for Food and Catering Services (GBSF).

The EOEW Award scheme has been developed to reward caterers who make it easier for their customers to make healthy choices when eating out. The Scheme, which is based on the Wales Health Options scheme, was launched in 2009 and is led by Buckinghamshire & Surrey Trading Standards in partnership with borough and district environmental health teams, Surrey County Council Public Health and the University of Surrey.
