Brief Description of Requirement:
The National Oceanography Centre is seeking interest from qualified firms to undertake the combined roles of Lead Consultant and Principal Designer. Fee proposals are invited from suitably qualified lead design consultants, specialising in structural engineering and qualitative-quantitative condition survey; for professional services associated with the above project.
Objectives:
NOC would like to avail the services of a lead design consultant, who shall also undertake the terms of responsibilities as the Project Principal Designer, to facilitate the completion of this project as per the requirements of CDM 2015. As the lead consultant you would be required to -
| • | Assess the existing condition of the following assets on site - |
| | Water Cooled Condenser Units |
| | Pressurisation Units |
| • | Provide a condition survey of the above noted assets for client LTM upgrades |
| • | Provide RICS/RIBA condition rating of the installations |
| • | Provide recommendations & options, including outline costings for upgrades |
| • | Provide the client with technical specifications and scope of works associated with the required upgrades necessary for the above assets, as highlighted within the assets' condition survey. |

This contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria set out in the ITQ / RFP document.

Once you have registered on the eSourcing Suite, a registered user can express an interest for a specific procurement. This is done by emailing expressionofinterest@crowncommercial.gov.uk.
