description

Market engagement day for Community Justice Learning

The Ministry of Justice, on behalf of Her Majesty's Prison and Probation Service, plans to tender to replace the current contracts with education institutions to provide academic learning for probation practitioners. This includes core components of the Professional Qualification in Probation (PQiP). As currently conceived, the contract(s) would provide for at least six cohorts of learners from the July 2021 intake through to the January 2024 intake (and learning delivery therefore into 2025).

In early July the authority conducted a market engagement exercise where we asked interested organisations to respond to a series of questions. To build on this, we would like to invite organisations who are interested in providing these services to attend a session via Microsoft Teams to hear more about the plans to tender this contract. The session will take place on Monday 21st September starting at 1:30pm. There will be a presentation from HMPPS as well as the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback on plans.

To register your interest please send an email to cjl.tender.21@justice.gov.uk by Friday 18th September 12 pm noon, In the email please include:

-The full name of any representatives from your organisation who will attend (please limit to 3 representatives)
-An email address for each attendee
-The name of your organisation

Please note, this session is open to any organisation, whether or not they provided responses to the first market engagement questionnaire. For further information please register on https://ministryofjusticecommercial.bravosolution.co.uk/web/login.html the documents that can be found by registering are:

-Background to probation and the tender
-A brief summary of the current qualification
-Questions for response (please note these are for background only and the Authority is not expecting a response to these)

This advert is being issued for market engagement purposes only. Any information provided is indicative only of the Authority's current intentions and is subject to change.
