description

As the need for housing increases so does the pressure on land to accommodate the extra housing that is required. Because of this pressure, there is an onus on the historic environment sector to positively influence the decisions on increased housing density in historically significant places. The purpose of this project is to provide material that helps improve decision making so that such developments take place in ways that are sympathetic to local character.
