Annual Billing for Council Tax and National Non Domestic Rates, and Electoral Registration Print Services

The Isle of Wight Council is responsible for the collection of both Council Tax and National Non Domestic Rates for the Isle of Wight. In addition it is the Authority’s responsibility to administer Housing benefit and the Local Council Tax Support scheme. As part of its statutory duties in this area the Authority has a legal obligation to issue annual Council Tax and National Non Domestic Rates bills under the Local Government Finance Act1992, The Council Tax (Administration & Enforcement) Regulations & Non Domestic Rating (Collection &Enforcement (Local Lists) Regulations 1989. 1.5 The Authority’s requirements are therefore for the supplier to produce, envelope and dispatch (including postage) the relevant documentation in relation to the following:

• (a)Annual billing for Council Tax, (b)Annual billing for National Non Domestic Rates, (c)Housing Benefit notifications, (d)Ad-Hoc Billing for Council Tax, (e)Local Council Tax Support notifications

Additional information: Tenderers can bid for one or both of the lots. It is the tenderers responsibility to ensure that they request the documents in ample time to ensure that they can be completed and returned, along with all supporting documentation called for, prior to the closing time and date. The Council reserves the right not to make any award and reserves the right to accept all or part of any tender.
