description
The GB rail industry is seeking to introduce new, unified supplier assurance and management arrangements which are more simple, effective and efficient.
Acting on behalf of the industry, including Network Rail, members of the Association of Train Operating Companies (ATOC), freight operating companies, rolling stock leasing companies, other train operators and suppliers, the Rail Safety and Standards Board (RSSB) is managing a project intended to create a world-class example of supply chain co-operation and success through the development and implementation of these new arrangements.
In order to successfully achieve this and to deliver the new arrangements for the industry, RSSB will require the support of third party service delivery partners and as first step in this process, we are issuing a Prior Information Notice (PIN), reference 447377-2015 (2015-12-19), inviting organisations to participate in a market consultation exercise.
This PIN is designed to inform the future tender specification and process development for this significant opportunity.
Further information can be found at 447377-2015
Additional information: Please contact Vikram.Gudra@rssb.co.uk if you would like to be take part of the market engagement for this project.
The market engagement will take place between 29th January and 26th February 2016. This was originally stated in the OJEU Notice as taking place on 15th January, which is incorrect.
