THE CLOSING DATE FOR THIS TENDER IS 8th JANUARY 2018 @ 14:00. This tender is to procure two obstacle avoidance sonar (OAS) systems (1 primary and 1 spare) for use primarily on our new high power AUV system Autosub2KUI. The OAS is intended to provide the vehicle with sufficient situational awareness to enable the AUV to conduct low altitude benthic camera surveys, operation in canyons or operate under ice.

This procurement will be managed electronically via the Crown Commercial Services e-Sourcing Suite. To participate in this procurement, participants shall first be registered on the e-Sourcing Suite. If Bidders have not yet registered on the portal this can be done online at https://gpsesourcing.cabinetoffice.gov.uk by following the 'Supplier e-Sourcing Registration'. Please note that to register Bidders must have a valid DUNS number for the organisation which you are registering. Once you have registered on the e-Sourcing Suite, a registered user can express an interest for a specific procurement. Your email must clearly state: the name and reference for the procurement you wish to register for; the name of the registered Bidder; and the name and contact details for the registered individual sending the email. Crown Commercial Service will process the email and then enable the Bidder to access the procurement online via the e-Sourcing Suite.
