description
The National Lottery Promotions Unit (NLPU) runs communications campaigns throughout the year and requires a media monitoring and evaluation service to assess the impact of its work across UK-wide (including Northern Ireland) newspapers, magazines, online, and broadcast media.
The NLPU is seeking a media monitoring to provide daily press cuttings and to evaluate the impact of this coverage and provide data to include, as a minimum:
| - | Volume of coverage |
| - | Opportunities to see |
| - | % Message communication |
| - | % Coverage with spokesperson |
| - | % Reach all adults |
| - | % Reach National Lottery players |
These metrics are required for the NLPU's total output and for each campaign.
The NLPU's campaigns for 2019/20 financial year include The 25th Birthday National Lottery Awards; the search for the UK's favourite ever National Lottery funded projects; and the 25th Anniversary campaign.
The NLPU also runs campaigns in Northern Ireland, Wales, and Scotland.
In the last financial year, The NLPU generated approximately 2,000 items of coverage. We require press cuttings to be sent after publication to the media team via daily alerts.
The NLPU requires coverage to be evaluated within 7 days of receipt and the findings to be available on an online portal, which members of the NLPU team can access and export the data.
The NLPU will also send some coverage, which may have been missed by the monitoring provider, once a week to the evaluation supplier. All coverage must be analysed.
The NLPU requires four quarterly reports and one annual report to be provided by the successful supplier. These reports must cover evaluation of the coverage obtained by the NLPU, broken down by campaign. These reports must be received within 10 working days of the end of the reporting period.
