description
The works basically comprise cutting out and repairing damaged areas of existing roads within the Western Cemetery and repairing with new Tarmac Paving.
The scope includes for the following:
| • | Plane existing surfaces to reduce levels to an average depth of 40mm, load and remove all spoil arising from site. |
| • | Sweep clean existing surface |
| • | Apply bitumen emulsion Tack Coat. |
| • | Supply, Lay and Compact 40mm thickness of new Surface Course including regulating material to all areas deeper than 40mm thickness. |
| • | Apply joint paint to seal new joints to existing surfaces. |
| • | Leave site clean and tidy upon completion of the works. |
There is no Contractors Design requirement for the proposed works.
The Contractor should also refer to the Scope of the Works documents (Section No. 3) of the Contract Documentation attached.
