GB-Maidstone: Boiler Replacement Programme

Golding Homes is looking for Contractors to undertake boiler replacement works. Specifically, the scope of works will comprise of:-

Design of boiler installations; Installation of boilers (boilers supplied directly by the Authority); Supply and installation of ancillary items required in connection with the works (some items supplied directly by the Authority) Management and supervision of the works, including the provision of resident liaison services. The Contract will be awarded for a period of one year, with a 12-month rolling extension, up to a maximum duration of 5 years. It is envisaged that this contract will deliver approximately 350nr boiler replacements per annum, made up of combination and system boilers, together with ancillary works such as new radiators, hot water cylinders, cold water storage (if required) and controls. There is a possibility that some servicing and repair work may be placed with the contractor appointed to deliver this contract in the event that the in-house team require additional/back-up resource but this is in no way guaranteed and should not be replied upon when making a decision to tender for these works.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
