LUV00669 - Winter Gritting Services at the University of Leicester

The University requires a winter gritting service that covers the academic campus and the Halls of Residence (See Maps at Appendix 1) and which prevents and reduces ice build-up and ensures that the roadways and pedestrian areas are as safe as possible to walk on and drive on. This will enable the University to meet its requirements under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, other related Legislation and its Duty of Care.

In addition, the University Service Provider will provide a gritting service for the adjacent Victoria Park Medical Centre that is operated by the NHS but supports the majority of students

This tender seeks a ‘per spread’ cost.
