Expression of Interest - The supply of gas and electric in void properties.

The London Borough of Hounslow is looking for a company that can assist us with the issues we face, which are to clear the debts on our gas and electric meters which are left from previous tenants.

The contractor/supplier will need to provide tag codes to reset the meter, which we would require within 24 hours of us reporting the void to them.

We require the contractor/supplier to supply cards and keys to us, so we can supply them, once we receive a void ready for when tag code is received.

We would also require, the company to assist when there are faulty meters. They will need to get an engineer to site in a timely manner to resolve the problems, to ensure that the void turnaround time is not delayed.

The change of supply cannot, delay the letting of a property, as this would affect our turnaround time.

We would require the supplier/company, to ensure that the tenants have freedom to change their supplier, once the property is re-let.

We cannot have a tenant tied into a contract with whoever supplies the contract we cannot authorise a decision like this on the new tenants behalf.'
