description

Newfield school are opening a site in Birkdale for pupils aged 5 -11 years old, primarily for social, emotional and mental health difficulties that manifest in behavioural ways (some may also have ADHD, Autism, Foetal Alcohol Syndrome, Learning difficulties and Social issues that would define their needs as complex).

We will require vehicles to transport 28 students from across the borough to the new site in Birkdale. Each vehicle will have between 4 and 6 students based on travelling distance, time and need and each vehicle will require an escort to supervise and support the students. Escorts to be provided by the bidder.

The further competition is looking to offer routes for the period 15th April to 23rd July 2024 (end of school term). There will be an option to extend routes for the remainder of the framework.
